Since I am too free today, I decided to post about the day before CNY.

As usual, we had lunch with family and went to grandma’s house (maternal) to have reunion dinner as well. Besides eating, we had nothing to do except talking and watching television. I however went out to take a look at the village decoration as well as taking photos =)

Although there’s no grand count down as previous years, you can feel the atmosphere is just there. Everyone was so excited waiting for the coming of the CNY. People played firework that made lots of loud bangs. Also, they don’t mind to decorate their houses nicely.

It was raining while on the way to the kampung.

Elderly people said it’s a good sign.Is it?

We had Peranakan foods.

My favorite is none other than Ponteh. So delicious !
